Context
Big Figma files rot. Colours drift, spacing forks, and the design system that was supposed to prevent it lives in a different file nobody opens. Bloq was built to fix that from inside the file, where the drift actually happens.
What I did
Built a Figma plugin that creates a design system with a click, using AI-enabled design tokens and variabilisation to replace hard-coded values with variables throughout the file.
The hard part is not detection, it is trust: a plugin that rewrites a designer's file has one chance to be wrong. Everything it changes is a variable it can also change back.
Outcome
Clutter inside large Figma files reduced by 80%, and shipped publicly on Product Hunt under Creatr.
